CITY SUBURBAN SERVICES & SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS LINE

Cityrail
CityRail Timetable here
There are regular train services, almost hourly during the day, between Sydney (links to suburban services), and Goulburn (although some terminate at Moss Vale or Bundanoon).

Trains from Sydney leave from Sydney Central (suburban platforms); some services commence or terminate at Campbelltown. Check timetables for connections to and from various suburban services.

A timetable, and details of fares can be found at the CityRail link here.

Although there are regular bus services throughout the Southern Tablelands, it is possible to travel between some of the towns listed on the map above by rail.

However, smaller stations are unattended and you must purchase your ticket at the vending machines on the station, or at your destination.
